Covenant of Mayors Office launches two brand-new publications!
On the occasion of the Covenant of Mayors third annual ceremony, which took place on Tuesday 29 November in Brussels, the Covenant of Mayors Office (CoMO) unveiled two brand-new publications: a [presentation brochure->http://www.eumayors.eu/IMG/pdf/brochure_com_web_FINAL_18_11_2011.pdf] and a [thematic leaflet on Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAPs)->http://www.eumayors.eu/IMG/pdf/thematic_leaflet_4_web.pdf].

The revamped brochure places particular emphasis on the unique nature of the initiative and the importance it is gaining not only within local administrations but also in European policies and among non-EU countries. It shows how Covenant of Mayors Signatories translate their political commitments into concrete action benefitting their citizens, tapping into EU funding, showing creativity and replicating success.

As the signatories’ focus is shifting from political vision to actual implementation, the CoMO also developed a comprehensive and easy-to-read thematic leaflet, providing a “closer look at the Sustainable Energy Action Plan”. With this new leaflet at hand, readers can get acquainted with the Covenant step-by-step process, its methodological framework, the SEAP submission and assessment procedures and the inspiring examples of fellow signatories.

The two publications are for the moment only available in English but are soon to be translated into the 22 other EU languages. Download the >>presentation brochure and >>thematic leaflet
