Province of Rome unveils new website dedicated to the Covenant of Mayors
Following in the footsteps of the Province of Modena, the Province of Rome just unveiled a [brand-new website->http://www.pattodeisindaci.provincia.roma.it/] fully dedicated to the Covenant of Mayors initiative, live since 29 February 2012.

This platform will help signatories from the Province of Rome to exchange information, experience and project ideas. The full-blown website notably includes a calendar of events, an image gallery, a map of local signatories and an extranet section. A specific page offers information about the support provided by the province to municipalities from the area, along with information on the province’s territorial coordination strategy and key documents on emission inventory and action plan development.

To illustrate this new milestone, the province posted an image endorsing the tagline “2020 is today” (“il 2020 è oggi”), arguing that energy and climate action and commitment was needed now in order to shape the course of tomorrow.

The Province of Rome joined as Territorial Coordinator in 2009 and provides support to over 30 signatories from the region.
