Webinar on IEE Project Development Assistance: Watch the presentations online! On 9 February, the Covenant of Mayors Office (CoMO) organised its first webinar on the IEE project development assistance “MLEI – Mobilising Local Energy Investments". The [slides and video recording->http://www.eumayors.eu/media/videos_en.html?videoid=99] are now available as part of the Covenant of Mayors online resources.
Attended by some 85 participants, the webinar featured a presentation from EACI representative Martin Eibl, who outlined the key eligibility criteria to apply for MLEI technical assistance – along with an overview of the 2012 Call for Proposals. This was followed by a practical example presented by Piergiorgio Tittarelli from the Province of Teramo, a successful applicant to the 2011 call.
Small and medium-sized local authorities interested in benefiting from technical assistance for the launch of sustainable energy investment projects and programmes are encouraged to apply to this facility at the latest by 8 May 2012.
This webinar was the first in a series of online presentations the CoMO plans to hold in 2012, with the objective of assisting signatories and Covenant stakeholders in moving from commitment to actual implementation.
