Strategy

The objective of fostering energy efficiency in the provincial territory is pursued through different instruments both of a financial and non financial nature. Provincia di Roma as supporting structure would ensure: - Coherence of climate change investment programme in the region - Support to municipalities in the technical preparation of SEAPs and bankable projects - Deliver CO2 reduction programmes at scale - Technical and financial support forSEAPs implementation - Information to municipalities of the initiative

Support provided to signatories

    Promote adhesion to the Covenant of Mayors
    • Dissemination of Covenant promotion materials (brochure, thematic leaflets, etc.)
    • Organisation of events
    Provide technical support for the development of the BEI/SEAP and implementation of the SEAP
    • Political and/or technical working group(s) set up
    • Development or adaptation of technical guidelines
    • Consultancy commissioned for the technical support
    Defend the interests of the Covenant in order to facilitate the adhesion to the initiative and the implementation of its requirements

    Giornata partecipata dei Comuni aderenti al Patto dei Sindaci

    Description: L’evento, organizzato dalla Provincia di Roma come ente Coordinatore del Patto dei Sindaci, ha l’obiettivo di promuovere il processo partecipativo nell’ambito della fase di predisposizione dei Piani di Azione Energia Sostenibile dei Comuni della provincia oramaientrati pienamente nella fase di stesura del documento. L’incontro consentirà di illustrare e condividere il percorso intrapreso per la redazione dei piani, la metodologia adottata e descritta in un documento tecnico predisposto dalla Provincia e dalla Fondazione per lo sviluppo sostenibile, e i nuovi Bilanci comunali delle Emissioni elaborati da Alleanza per il Clima. Durante l’evento verranno anche presentati i primi piani in fase di approvazione di alcuni Comuni della Provincia, e alcuni casi studio relativi a possibili interventi da parte di operatori del settore dell’efficienza e delle fonti rinnovabili. Parteciperanno all’evento le Amministrazioni comunali e saranno invitati i principali portatori di interesse locali dei comuni coinvolti.
