Description: All 305 cities in the Region have joined the Covenant of Mayors Regional Administration and all Provincial Administrations joined as coordinators. The Region allocated € 300,000 from the regional budget to assist the municipalities in preparation of Operational Plans and the entire resource of 35 million euros of structural funds EDRF 2007-2013, axis II Energy, to support the implementation of the intervention foreseen by the SEAP in the Region. 618 intervention realized: increase of the efficiency on existing plants, increase of the efficiency of public street lighting systems, realization of photovoltaic and thermodynamic solar plants , construction of insulating walls, Replacement of boilers , casings and windows, installation of temperature controllers on heating systems.
