Participants at the upcoming Covenant workshop in Madrid, 9 February 2010, will have the opportunity to discuss Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAP) with other cities and the Covenant of Mayors Office. The entire afternoon will be dedicated to discussing local authorities’ questions, and difficulties they have encountered regarding their SEAPs. Those interested in the Covenant of Mayors should make sure they don’t miss out on this occasion to exchange experiences.

Between 14:45 and 17:45 the cities of Eindhoven (NL) and Murcia (ES) will present their SEAPs, and a representative from the Covenant of Mayors Office will explain the SEAP methodology. These sessions will provide plenty of room for discussions as well as opportunites to identify the challenges faced by signatories and the solutions to overcome them.

The workshop will take place one day before a combined EUROCITIES environment and economic development forum meeting on 10-12 February. Unlike this meeting, the Covenant workshop is open for everyone and is free of charge.
