At a recent gathering of Swedish municipalities organised by the Covenant supporter Klimatkommunerna on the 13th of March in Stockholm, the Swedish municipality of Finspång - one of the first European cities to join the Covenant in 2009 - reaffirmed its engagement to the initiative by committing to the 2030 targets.
Thirty-one cities have signed the pre-commitment declaration to the European Covenant of Mayors (CoM) 2030 objectives, during the Urban Future Global Conference 2018 (UFGC) , held in Vienna from the 28th of February to the 2nd of March (full list of the cities at the bottom of the article).
