    Bridging the Gap - how to facilitate bankability of local Climate Action in Europe and beyond

    Organiser: Covenant of Mayors office

    Organised by Urban LEDS project, the Covenant of Mayors - Europe Office

    This event is an opportunity to learn more about successful examples of bankable projects, for the participants to share their experiences in applying and obtaining funding for climate action and to receive feedback directly from technical assistance providers.

    The programme of the event includes:

    • Presentation pitches from cities on their own experiences with financing climate projects;
    • A Q&A and the intervention of three financial institutions, namely the European City Facility, the City Climate Finance Gap Fund and URBIS;
    • A roundtable enabling a discussion with the financial institutions individually in breakout rooms

    The event will also represent the closing session in Europe for the Urban LEDS II project, which will end in November. Do not miss this opportunity to network with peer cities, connect with the Urban LEDS II project and learn interesting insights to finance your climate action. This is an open event, and we would very much value you sharing this invitation with your colleagues and networks.
