    ChangeNOW Summit in Paris – apply today and be part of the European Covenant of Mayors Delegation!

    The ChangeNOW summit, taking place on the 28-29th of September in Paris, is the international rendez-vous for Positive Impact, bringing together hundreds of innovators, investors, media, corporates and mission-driven participants, to help scale solutions that can change the world.

    We are opening today a call for all local politicians of the European Covenant community to participate in a Mayors’ delegation for the ChangeNOW International Summit for Change in Paris on 28 September 2018

    change now logoMayors will have the opportunity to meet innovators in the field of energy, climate and environment, fellow politicians from all over the world, and to display their achievements in conference sessions on resilience and sustainable mobility.

    The city of Los Angeles, signatory of the Covenant of Mayors in North America, has already confirmed its participation. Confirmed speakers at the ChangeNOW summit include Gunter Pauli (inventor of the Blue Economy), Daan Roosegaarde (Smog Free Tower), Sampo Hietanen (Mobility as a Service), Pr. Chan Kim (Blue Ocean Strategy), Cycloponics (Urban Farm accelerator), Hackers Against Natural Disasters (Resilient cities network) and Ndaba Mandela (grand-son of Nelson Mandela and Social Entrepreneur).

    This call is opening to all EU elected city representatives of the Covenant of Mayors Community. Selected local politicians will have their entrance fees to the conference covered. Travel costs will be at participants’ own costs. In order to be part of the delegation, please fill in this application form before September 10th. Members of the delegation will be selected based on municipalities’ size and geographical balance. The newly elected Deputy Mayor of Amsterdam for Spatial Development and Sustainability Marieke van Doorninck, will be part of the delegation.
